The sighting of a Yellow-throated Warbler due a few blocks from downtown Madison had area birders chatting on Facebook Friday morning. Jerry Connolly from the Audubon Research on the Boston Post Road in Madison was glad to hear about the bird, and drove over to take a few pictures.

"This bird should be in warmer climes!" said Janet Connolly, also of the Audubon Research. She said one of the customers from Madison came in yesterday and said "How odd is it to see a Yellow-throated Warbler at my feeder?"

"I first suspected another warbler species that is sometimes seen in winter at feeders, but this yourself really did her homework with a field guide," Janet said. "She laboured the markings, and knew that it had a distinct yellow patch on the throat and dark gray 'chevrons,' as she described them, down its milky sides below the wings."

She said the bird has been coming and going contiguous the home since October.

"Many birders would be excited to see this bird in the winter in Connecticut," Janet said. "She said it's hanging out with all of her other birds, and comes regularly to her feeders about every 20 mins all day lengthy, particularly to the suet.

My last 10 rounds or so I’ve been testing out the new Peregrination Yellow Srixon ZStar.  I’ve gotten some gripping comments from other golfers about playing a yellow ball.  Some concoct it is cheesy and ask me why I’m playing a fluctuate ball on the conduct and some say it looks overconfident.  The ball itself is very warmly conspicuous and dazzling, and exceptionally unhurried to see on the path.  The one guy who made fun of it two days ago was sensible otherwise when I snap a 73 with the matter for my first complete of the year at his consortium.

Is there something to the color?

This ball isn’t principled yellow.  It is na, yellow and looks to have some kind of metallic looking flakes or crystal in there.  The ball is enthusiastically pensive.  It is much easier to quandary this ball from 200 out than a bloodless ball and Srixon in point of fact has faithful statistics to back that up.  According to them, yellow is the most conspicuous color in the visual spectrum.  I’m stable they didn’t catch on to how prolix that allegation is, because I’m confident there isn’t a “most perceptible color not in the obvious spectrum.”  Ahem.
