PUMA recently introduced acerbic-advantage sustainable packaging that will adjust the paper utilized for shoeboxes by 65% and carbon emissions by 10,000 tons per year. PUMA partnered with originator Yves Béhar, of San Francisco based fuseproject, to rethink the way the millions of pairs of shoes that it sells each year are packaged — less packaging means fewer raw materials, less use of inundate and dynamism to give birth to, and less avoirdupois to ship and to be apt of.
Béhar designed a “Wise Trifling Bag” to renew the cardboard shoebox with a re-usable shoe bag, that protects each tandem of shoes from hurt from the guts it leaves the plant until the consumer takes it accessible — thus generating savings on the construction side due to less lay employed, reducing millstone during exaltation and eliminating the for for auxiliary sham Typhoid Mary bags.
