What dress shoes,for men, go great with jeans & button down shirt, but also go great with khakis or a suit?

Question: I am looking for a brown leather friendly class or I suppose it could be suede shoes. But i on to say that go well with a shirt tucked into khaki church and say jeans and a button down for a night lets say around the city or dinner. Just a shoe versatile class.
