NAMPA, Idaho - Older guard Antoine Proctor matched his season high while fellow superior Jaxon Myaer set a new season-high to lead Montana Aver University Billings to a 94-75 road victory over Northwest Nazarene Thursday continually.
With their second straight win, the Yellowjackets are 9-6 overall in head bus Jamie Stevens' first season and hold a 4-3 mark in club allied with action. The Crusaders fall to 8-6, 2-4 in the GNAC.
"Tonight was a marked team effort to get the win on the road," Stevens stated. "We shot the ball very well, we took keeping of the ball, and we held a good offensive team to a low shooting share while out-rebounding them. As far as a team effort, it was as good as we have played all year."
The Yellowjackets connected on justified over 50% (33-65) of their shots from the field while the Crusaders struggled to finish the victim with a .397 (25-63) outing from the floor. MSUB shot over 88% (16-18) of their chances from the philanthropy stripe and added in 12 three-pointers to finish the game 44.4% (12-25) from beyond the arc.
