Innocent Jack’s Lemurian Gamble – The finishing instalment

Adolescent cyber Jack made considerable space flying in his multipurpose channel behind the raven. At roughly ten minutes to midnight they arrived at the stables behind the Inn at Gilead. The moon was up and three quarters full. In its heraldry argent simple-minded the stables appeared eerie and only half there. To Jack it seemed they were fading into information as he watched. A few tied looking donkeys milled about at the back of the entrants but none came well-developed to put him.

“We’d superb news services on,” the raven spake. “It is as if this make good is entering into the duchy of nevermore.”

Together the doublet flew on. “What of the mystic talismans and mystic objects I was to procure from Le Enchanteur?” Jack asked but the bird gave only a sad croak in acknowledge.

Hunched over his computer Jack winched as the bother in his legs flared. His drop back throbbed and insomnia glazed his eyes. Front the trees tossed fretfully in a blustery summer puffery.
